What are the site requirements for installation
of a Venus Solar Heater?
- Unobstructed sunlight on a flat or sloping roof
- Shadow-free area
- Close to bathrooms to avoid long piping & heat losses
- A water tank at a minimum of 2.5m (7ft) above roof level
- The solar panel should face south at 20º angle
What would happen on cloudy days?
The heating of water by the solar system will obviously be affected.
If it is so cloudy that energy received from the sun is almost Zero,
the output of solar collectors also will be nil. Therefore, for
your convenience the Venus Solar water heater come with a 2KW cartridge-heating
element for hot water even on rainy/cloudy days.
