Venus has been honoured with a commemorative award by BIS - Bureau of Indian Standards on the 75th Anniversary celebrations of Indian Independence (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) as well as the 75th Anniversary of the establishment of BIS in 1947. Venus has been honored along with other long-standing licensees in the category of 50 years +.Venus has always given the most importance to quality. Compliance with ISI standards has been one way of achieving and maintaining this quality. Standards ensure that quality benchmarks are clearly defined and compliance to these standards provides the consumer with the assurance of safety, reliability and performance. We were among the first water heater manufacturers to get the ISI mark in 1972 and have continuously retained it since then. We were the 1st manufacturer to get ISI mark with the new Glasslined tank technology in 2012. Venus has been on the ISI technical committee that formulates safety standards for Electrical Appliances since the 1970s continuously.
