Designed for energy-conscious homes, the range combines efficient solar heat collection with insulated water storage to help retain heat for use throughout the day.

Choose Venus solar water heating for your home and make renewable energy part of your everyday life.

VTC Technology – Advanced Solar Heat Collection

Capture More Solar Energy. Enjoy the Power of the Sun.

Venus Vacuum Tube Collector (VTC) technology is designed to harness the sun’s energy for efficient water heating. Each tube features a specially coated absorber that captures solar radiation and converts it into heat. The vacuum layer surrounding the absorber acts as an insulating barrier, helping minimise heat loss to the surroundings.

As the water heats up, natural circulation transfers the hot water to the insulated storage tank, where it remains available for everyday household needs. By combining effective solar heat absorption with reduced heat loss, VTC technology helps make better use of available sunlight while reducing dependence on conventional electric water heating.

What is Thermosiphonic Effect

A thermosiphon system relies on warm water rising, a phenomenon known as natural convection, to circulate water through the collectors and to the tank. In this type of installation, the tank must be above the collector. As water in the collector heats, it becomes lighter and rises naturally into the tank above. Meanwhile, cooler water in the tank flows down pipes to the bottom of the collector, causing circulation throughout the system. This is called Thermosiphonic Effect. This process continues steadily for a numer of hours till the water stored in the tank is heated up.

FAQ

Any Question? Can We Help You.

It is a domestic solar water heating system that uses solar energy to heat water for household needs, helping reduce reliance on conventional electric water heating

The system uses its solar collector to absorb sunlight and transfer heat to water, which is stored in an insulated tank for later use. Confirm the collector technology for the specific E-Series variant in the final product specifications.

Hot water may be available from the previous day's stored heat. The amount of heat retained depends on tank insulation, weather, water usage and the time elapsed since heating.

Consider the number of people in your household, bathing habits, simultaneous hot-water demand, local climate and the availability of suitable rooftop space. Use the Venus capacity guide or request a site assessment.
